Key Information

The Focusing Resources on Effective School Health (FRESH) framework therefore provides a frame of reference through which to design and implement School Health and Nutrition (SHN) programs that are equitable and inclusive of all children – ensuring that no child is left behind or out of school. This means that actions to include children who are vulnerable such as children with disabilities, orphans, girls and those in severe poverty are taken at all stages of planning and implementing SHN programs.
