Key Information

Better Life for Girls in Uganda is a multi-sectoral initiative that seeks to strengthen efforts to prevent teenage pregnancy and underage marriage so as to reap the girl effect dividend. The program works towards strengthening national capacity to deliver improved sexual and reproductive health outcomes and socio-economic empowerment for adolescent girls in 14 districts in Uganda. The program utilizes a holistic and gender-focused approach to empower girls and builds on previous country efforts to prevent teenage pregnancy.
