Pakistan Girl Guides Association offers a dynamic educational program to girls and young women to develop their fullest potential as responsible citizens, capable of performing their duties in the home as well as community and the country. It also emphasizes the importance of individual contributions towards the community. The membership of Guide Movement in Pakistan is based in the Formal and Non-Formal Education Institutions. Guiding is all about life skills enabling them to make a difference in their homes, communities and country. The Girl Guides program lays stress on community development projects by giving girls the opportunity to learn about health, nutrition, environment and economic uplift through different activities. Pakistan Girl Guides Association has the status of a National organization. The Association is protected and incorporated by Ordinance No. XLIV of 1960 by the Government of Pakistan.
