Programa Fortalecimiento de los Servicios de Educación Especial (PFSEE)

The general objective of the program is to "Contribute to students with disabilities and outstanding skills in basic education in receiving educational attention according to their needs, by strengthening special education services." According to the rules of operation, for internal evaluations done by educational institutions, "Specific indicators must be incorporated to allow the evaluation of the incidence of budgetary programs on the reduction of the gaps between women and men, the prevention of gender violence and any form of discrimination based on gender, disability, ethnic origin, or other forms." External evaluations, "should incorporate a gender perspective."
