Girls' Education in South Sudan

Key Information
This is a six year programme that aims to transform a generation of South Sudanese girls by increasing access to primary education. With funding from the Department for International Development (DFID), we are working in two states, Western Equatoria and Unity State, to: raise awareness of the benefits of sending girls to school; encourage girls to stay the course and not drop out early; and support schools to improve their buildings, facilities and teaching materials.
