The project called “Inclusive Readings”, funded by UNICEF and co-organized by the Center for Research on Gender and Family of the University of Cape Verde, the Eugénio Tavares Chair of Portuguese Language and the Portuguese Language Center at Praia (Camões Institute for Cooperation and Language) is a project that benefits more than a hundred children and promote teaching content related to the values ​​of identity, respect for differences, gender equality, self-esteem, resilience, courage, well-being and mental health through stories. The aim of the program is that, with the stories, students with learning difficulties will improve their results and gain a “taste for reading”.
