Description
The Civil Society Support Program (CSSP) is a non-profit civil society organization which emerged as a response to the challenges faced by the civil society of Pakistan with regards to the fight against poverty, social injustice, and governance issues. It was established in 2007 and received registration under Societies Registration Act 1860. CSSP is aimed at socio-economic transformation of citizens and institutions through organizing, educating, engaging and involving communities and public institutions for a prosperous and healthy society. This will be achieved by diversifying the efforts of different stakeholders including youth, civil society organizations, media persons, academia, researchers, lawyers for policy reforms and implementation. CSSP is mainly engaged in interventions focusing on youth development; promoting education, gender equality, sports, art and tourism; promoting social and cultural norms and traditions; climate change; DRR and humanitarian response.
