Description

VVOB is an education focused organization currently working in 9 countries across Africa (Congo DRC, Rwanda, Uganda, South Africa and Zambia), Latin America (Ecuador and Suriname) and South East Asia (Cambodia and Vietnam). VVOB provides technical assistance to the Ministries of Education in the partner countries to improve the quality education, through capacity development programmes for teachers, both in-service and pre-service, and school leaders. VVOB works in the subsectors of early education, primary education, secondary education and secondary TVET education. Equity in education is an important focus of VVOB work, and in particular gender in education. This is underscored by key partnerships with FAWE and UNGEI to support the implementation of gender responsive teaching and learning environment.
