Description
ChildHope UK was set up in 1989, supported by UNICEF and Save the Children (Sweden). Since then, it has focused its projects on supporting children in vulnerable and hard to reach positions. These children may live and work on the street, be at risk of trafficking or child marriage, victims of abuse or sexual exploitation, working on rubbish dumps or in contact with the law. Children with disabilities are more likely to be stigmatised, abused, exploited or neglected. Based on our 30 years of experience working internationally with vulnerable children and young people, ChildHope provides a range of protection and safeguarding consultancy, training, and strength building services. Their services support organisations to develop, strengthen, and implement safeguarding measures, and to identify the risks that programmes and operations are exposed to.
