Description

The Batonga Foundation was founded by Grammy-award winning singer-songwriter, Angelique Kidjo, with the mission to equip the hardest-to-reach girls and women with knowledge and skills they need to be agents of change in their own lives and communities. Batonga envisions a safer, healthier and more equitable world in which all girls and women can thrive. We work with the most vulnerable girls and young women in Benin to help them move from a state of poverty, isolation, and vulnerability to one of social and economic empowerment.
