Description

IIRR is a research, educational and community development organization focused on empowerment, innovation, and transformation to address rural poverty. IIRR currently operates in eight developing countries: Cambodia, Ethiopia, Kenya, Myanmar, Philippines, South Sudan, Uganda and Zimbabwe. Each year through training, study programs, south-south exchange, technical support, coaching and projects partnership, we influence over 100,000 people to become agents of learning and advocates for change in their communities. IIRR fosters the social advancement of the poor through sustainable development practices by learning from communities and helping them develop long-term solutions and methods for those solutions. Our focuses are Education, Health and the Environment.
