Founded in the year 2009, Flying Broom Women’s Communication and Research Association (Uçan Süpürge Kadın İletişim ve Araştırma Derneği) is a leading organization focused on networking and advocacy for women. Since its inception, various projects have been implemented all over Turkiye, mostly with local partners, always with a gender perspective. We believe in stakeholders’ democracy, and empowering girls and women. Flying Broom Association implemented projects on various topics such as media monitoring with a feminist lens, improving media literacy among women, combatting child marriages, building shadow councils, developing dialogue with public bodies, and encouraging girls to STEAM jobs.
